Malik DePasquale

Co-Founder & CEO

Malik DePasquale began his gymnastics journey at age 7 in Northern Nevada. At 15, he moved to North Carolina to pursue his competitive dreams, advancing to Level 10 and earning recognition as the 2013 North Carolina Athlete of the Year. He capped off his artistic gymnastics career by becoming the 2013 National Champion on High Bar. After returning to Northern Nevada, Malik transitioned to elite trampoline competition for five years, demonstrating exceptional versatility across multiple disciplines and capturing two National Titles in Trampoline and Synchronized Trampoline events. Today, Malik uses his extensive competitive experience to coach the next generation of athletes. His background in both artistic gymnastics and trampoline allows him to offer comprehensive training at all levels. As Co-Founder & CEO of Acro Index and owner of Shasta Gymnastics Academy in Redding, California, he's committed to creating an environment where young gymnasts can pursue their dreams with passion and dedication. This unique background makes Malik the perfect leader to spread excellence across all gymnastics disciplines to a massive community of athletes and coaches.

Tim Schneider

Co-Founder & CTO

Tim Schneider grew up flipping on his backyard trampoline while competing as a swimmer from age 9 through high school varsity. He discovered artistic gymnastics at 18, where he began training recreationally in Men's Artistic Gymnastics and met Malik in Northern Nevada. The two became coworkers coaching at the same gym shortly after, training on the trampoline together after their shifts. In 2021, Tim moved to San Diego to attend UC San Diego, where he competed on the UCSD Club Gymnastics Team while continuing to coach. After graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Developmental Psychology, he launched a career as a full-stack software engineer. However, his passion for gymnastics drew him back to coaching, and in 2025 he returned to the gym floor at SCATS Gymnastics in Huntington Beach. He attributes his love for teaching and coaching to his coaches growing up, who embodied pushing their athletes to greater heights within an environment of encouragement and kindness, balanced with clear boundaries and high expectations. As Co-Founder and CTO of Acro Index, Tim combines his technical expertise with his love for the sport to build the platform that brings gymnastics knowledge to athletes and coaches everywhere.
